Dallas, TX – The Texas Crane Owners Association (TCOA) announced the results of its bi-annual election at this year’s Annual Meeting. Ron Thompson, Executive Vice President at CoVerica, was elected to serve a two-year term on the TCOA Board of Directors, beginning January 1, 2026.
With more than 30 years of experience specializing exclusively in crane and rigging risk management, Thompson has been a long-standing advocate for Texas crane operators and business owners. As a 15-year member of the Association, he has played an active role in advancing industry safety standards, insurance best practices, and collaboration between owners, operators, and underwriters.
“It’s an honor to represent such a dedicated and tight-knit community,” said Thompson. “My focus will continue to be on strengthening communication, supporting safety and compliance initiatives, and ensuring the long-term stability of our industry.”
Thompson will serve as one of the first Associate Members elected to the TCOA Board, a seat created to enhance dialogue between crane owners and key industry partners.
