Rhonda Cox Elected President of the IIAD
(Dallas, TX)— 9/18/2019 — On August 21st, the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD) elected Rhonda Cox, previously board President Elect, the new President for the organization during its annual installation luncheon. Cox, Vice President of Operations for CoVerica, will serve as President for the 2019-2020 fiscal year alongside Drew G. Brown, president-elect, and Adam Sammons, IIAD secretary and treasurer.
“Without reservation Rhonda has been a shining example of supreme competence, patience, teach-ability, and most importantly, most effective as our operations chief. I am in awe of her abilities to accomplish what is needed, while reminding us, as best stated by Ronald Reagan that ‘There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don’t care who gets the credit.’” says Mike Sterlacci, CoVerica’s CEO and founder.
Cox began her insurance career as a claims adjuster in 1982 and later held various management positions. She joined CoVerica in 2011 as Operations Manager and was later named Vice President of Operations in 2018. Before her election as President in the IIAD, Cox served as President Elect of the Insurance Employment Services Board, as well as facilitating numerous CoVerica Cares charity events with CoVerica Staff.
CoVerica, circa 1983, offers unique insurance options, advocacy, and accountability with effective risk management solutions for individuals, families, and businesses. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, CoVerica was awarded the IIABA Best Practice Agency consecutively for six years in a row for excellence in risk management expertise and servicing capabilities.
